She brings a remarkable breadth of experience to our practice, having trained and worked as a pediatric surgeon in Cuba before transitioning to primary and urgent care in the U.S. Over the past three years, she has been a trusted provider in our local community, known for her clinical excellence and compassionate approach to care.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jalima is committed to providing culturally competent care and has developed strong, lasting relationships with families—many of whom have chosen to continue their care with her here at Starz. Her advanced medical knowledge, surgical background, and gentle bedside manner make her an invaluable addition to our team.
